Communications Specialist/Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Hybrid Communications Specialist/Graphic Designer/Web Developer. 

Responsibilities are ~75% communications and ~25% graphic design and web development.

Candidates must already possess a current and active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered for this position

• Provide organizational and mass communications consulting to organizational leaders, members, and stakeholders at unclassified and classified levels. Assist with developing briefings, creating talking points and key messages, and writing articles, newsletters, and Web site content.  Perform baseline assessments and design and implement communication plans. Turn information and data into easy-to-comprehend graphics that help convince others. Work on a multimedia team in a fast-paced environment with a constant flow of projects to support.  Create infographics for an executive audience, design and maintain a Web site, and support meeting presentations. Help ensure senior leaders across the IC get the information they need in a way that makes it easy for them to comprehend and plan their next steps.

Required:

• 8+ years of experience with graphics design or visual communications
• 8+ years of experience with strategic communications planning and execution and communications best practices
• Experience with formatting data into concise and visually appealing layouts
• Experience in working directly with senior leaders
• Experience  with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign,  Photoshop,  and After
• Effects and Microsoft Office, including  PowerPoint
• Experience with using WordPress and CSS3/HTML5
• Experience with general content management and best practices
• Ability to make final reports interactive to upload to the Web or act as standalone interactive PDFs
• TS/SCI clearance with a FSP polygraph required
• BA or BS degree required
