Software Developer

ASEC2 is looking for a Developer to enhance and maintain enterprise/departmental IT systems.  This position requires in-depth hands on experience developing software in an environment where customer focus, cooperation, communication and continual trade-craft improvements are the norm.  

Candidates must already possess a current and active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered for this position

The ideal candidate will design and develop programmatic solution-based systems, write applications in a development environment, create test data, perform multiple tests, deploy and support production systems as needed.

Required Skills:

• Software Development Lifecycle
• Software design patterns
• Agile development processes and implementation.
• Secure coding standards
• Requirements creation/management and configuration management tools
• Configuration/change management systems
• Integration and debugging using integrated development environments (IDE)
• Developing software tests and test-automation suites.
• Providing software maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
• Experience with at least one or more software languages (e.g. Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Perl, etc.)
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
• Cloud design, implementation, and configuration
• Security Development Operations (SecDevOps)
• Integration with third (3rd) party applications
