ASEC is seeking a Systems Architect to dentify, analyze, and define system IT needs to develop satisfactory and feasible system concepts certified for client use.


Candidates must already possess a current and active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered for this position


Some responsibilities are:  

  • Apply knowledge of enterprise IT needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements, and ensure these are consistent with the enterprise technical architecture
  • Conduct trades studies to identify and compare alternative design solutions
  • Act as an adviser to IT system engineers and propose changes to the enterprise technical architecture based on analysis of requirements and new technology
  • Work with appropriate parties to resolve discrepancies between proposed IT systems and enterprise quality and security standards
  • Problem solver and recommend possible solutions to complex or ambiguous client challenges
  • Formulate and define the technical scope of activities aimed at improving IT support for overall enterprise business processes
  • Apply advanced consulting expertise and experience and define scope and appropriate approach to new assignments
  • Identify architectural and technology risks with the potential to impact IT plans and develop goals and plans to mitigate risks


Required Skills: 

  • Experience with applying enterprise IT strategy and IT architecture principles
  • Experience with translating requirements and gaps into end-to-end designs
  • Experience with assessing and transitioning new technologies to the enterprise in the Cloud context
  • Experience with IT project management
  • Experience in working with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with big data challenges, data science analyses and use of analytic tools to help drive decisions
  • BA or BS degree Engineering or a related technical field
