Work as part of a larger project team to transition the Sponsor’s existing tracking systems to this new ticketing system, transition existing SharePoint applications to the new platform, and support the enterprise deployment of the platform.  


Candidates must already possess a current and active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered for this position.



  • Must be able to work as part of a larger project team to ensure successful implementation of the environment. 
  • Collect user requirements from various service providers and organizations. 
  • Implement collected requirements to customize ServiceNow.
  • Coordinate ServiceNow changes with the Sponsor’s user base and internal organizations.
  • Create documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training manuals for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work with Sponsor Lead to engineer ServiceNow’s data standards.
  • Develop on top of ServiceNow to enable Sponsor’s ServiceNow applications to communicate, using API or a light weight script (e.g., Python or Java).
  • Develop ServiceNow services supporting the Sponsor’s business processes and operations.
  • Support transitioning the Sponsor’s existing tracking systems to ServiceNow.
  • Transition existing SharePoint applications and databases to ServiceNow.
  • Support the Sponsor’s development of new services within ServiceNow.
  • Automate orchestration between BSS and OSS stacks.




Demonstrated experience with:

  • Madrid version of ServiceNow software baseline.
  • Working in both traditional PMI Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
  • Using the Agile methodology.
  • Creating documents and standard operating procedures for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated, on-the-job experience developing ServiceNow applications and code-based customizations.
  • Demonstrated, on-the-job experience with the following functions of the Madrid version of ServiceNow:
    • IT Service Management
    • IT Business Management
    • IT operations Management
    • Knowledge Management
    • Service Catalog
    • Workflow
    • CMDB & CI Management
    • Orchestration
  • Demonstrated, on-the-job experience integrating applications and using APIs
  • Capturing requirements 
  • Translating requirements into system solutions
  • Developing systems that balance technical, schedule, cost, security, and policy constraints.
  • In release, sprint, and user story application/module testing in the ServiceNow platform and application suites (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM)
  • Demonstrated, on-the-job experience planning migration to the ServiceNow platform from one of the following ITSM tools: Remedy, Jira, or Maximo 
  • Active ServiceNow Application Developer Certification


  • Demonstrated successful experience with the Sponsor’s custom applications and processes.
  • Experience across the Sponsor environment working with SharePoint Administration. 
  • Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience writing Javascript.
  • Demonstrated experience applying HTML5, and CSS technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with, or academic knowledge of, ITIL v3 (or newer)
