  • Overview

    Support the Sponsor's Office of Architecture and Integration and that is responsible for providing technical leadership, oversight, integration, and programmatic engineering support across multiple projects as well as architecting and designing the integrated Data Layer.  Data Architect is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders in various groups to define, develop, and institutionalize a strategic data framework across multi-fabric information environments.  

     

    • Candidates must already possess a current and active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered for this position

     

    Responsibilities

    • Providing analysis, design, development, deployment, and life-cycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications.
    • Analyzing and studying complex system requirements.
    • Analyzing functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
    • Applying business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and business process modernization projects. 
    • Applying, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.
    • Assisting in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
    • Designing software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
    • Developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions.
    • Developing and apply organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated shared software and database management systems.
    • Developing block diagrams and logic flow charts.  Translate detailed design into computer software.
    • Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work-flow.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Experience with the following:

    • C2S/AWS Services
    • Agile/SAFe methodologies
    • Development and Architecture artifacts
    • IV&V practices
    • Requirements definition and traceability
    • 16 years of experience, 3 years in IC
    • Successful full life cycle software development projects
    • A&A process

    Desired:

    • Demonstrated knowledge in enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data stewardship principles, data architecture principles, data standards, and meta-data management best practices
    • SAFe certification
    • PMP Certification
    • Expert knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, and programming techniques
    • 20 Years experience, 5 years in IC
