    The individual selected for this position will fill a systems architect role support the Sponsor’s
    organization responsible for providing medical services and promoting safety and well-being of the workforce. The
    Systems Architect will support the Sponsor in developing an updating, as necessary, architecture documents,
    roadmaps, and standards to account for technology and mission/business changes. This will consist of working
    with multiple stakeholders in various groups to define and integrate disparate systems. Responsibilities include,
    but are not limited to:

    •  Supporting the Sponsor in defining systems architectures, developing roadmaps, identifying planneddevelopments in information technology areas.
    • Providing systems architecture knowledge and consultation to Sponsor components, and assist intechnical review and architecture designs, assessment of technical solutions to business needs, anddevelopment of technical concepts of system operations for Sponsor components for Sponsorcomponents’ requirements, systems designs, and system architectures.
    • Documenting the “as-is” system and business architecture for the Sponsor.
    • Identify all technical systems capabilities, document data types, data flows, connectivity, high level functionality and system relationship both internal and external to the Sponsor’s office.
    • Working with the Sponsor’s Technical Director and Group leadership to develop a “to-be” system and business architecture for future capabilities.
    • Identifying opportunities for strengthening streamlining and standardizing the architecture
    • Developing future technology roadmaps that describe the plans to move from “as-is” to the “to-be”
    • Working with multiple stakeholders in defining requirements and resolving discrepancies between proposed IT systems and enterprise architecture, data, quality, and security standards




    • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience (3 years)) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineer, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience, 3 years in IC
    • Demonstrated knowledge in enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data stewardship, data architecting principles, data standards, and metadata management best practices
    • Experience with successful full lifecycle software development projects
    • Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that include multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services


    • Experience with medical informatics
    • Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
    • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Experience with application integration technologies and approaches, Business Intelligence/Data
    • Warehousing solutions, and data management technologies.
    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience, 3 years in IC
