    Responsibilities

    The candidate will provide SETA and programmatic support for the client. This support includes the following key
    roles:


    • Provide cyber security engineering services in support of client mission
    • Provide systems engineering and project management support
    • Apply systems engineering skills in requirements analysis and allocation, architecture analysis and
    design, technology assessment, metrics development.
    • Provide operational support, to include tool testing in an operational environment and coordinating and
    resolving issues with vendors and other appropriate personnel
    • Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques for the investigation and
    resolution of complex project requirements and technical specifications for software development projects
    • Plan and direct full life-cycle projects or major phases of projects for highly visible technical solution
    programs

    Qualifications

    Required:

     

    Moderate proficiency in at least three of the following areas:

    • Experience working on software development projects (end-to-end life-cycle); test engineering or QA (logical understanding)
    • Hands-on experience and demonstrated expertise in installation, configuration, and administration of IT resources. Experience includes Windows, Linux, VMware and Network software products
    • Working knowledge of Operating Systems (admin and/or kernel level)
    • Experience/understanding of Firmware or Embedded Systems
    • Experience with networking protocols, routing, and firewalls
    • Experience with O/S languages and language packs
    • Experience with cyber security products (Anti-Virus, Endpoint Security variants and methods)
    • Experience with multiple Internet technologies (web, email, chat, etc.)
    • Server technologies
    • Experience with database formats, queries, structures, and schema
    • Knowledge of S/W vulnerabilities & exploits
    • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community mission, vision, goals, and values
    • Possess excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment of rapidly changing requirements in support of the client mission
    • Must be a team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team as well as work independently with minimal supervision
    • Must be able to quickly adapt to new technologies and apply unique, customized solutions to complex software engineering challenges
    • Willing to periodically travel in support of technical exchange meetings, program reviews, and system testing

     

    Education

     

    Bachelor of Science in a related field such as Computer Engineering or Computer Science desired.
