    Responsibilities

    Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Experience with systems engineering and technical analysis of intelligence and defense systems and the design, development, and operations of space systems and ballistic missile technical collection capabilities
    • Experience with intelligence community (IC)-wide technical collection or intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR)
    • Knowledge of satellite constellations functional success criteria, operational requirements, and reliability constraints to determine appropriate constellation replenishment dates
    • At least 15 years experience with a BS, 12 with an advanced degree
    • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
    • BA or BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Operations Research, CS, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or Risk Management
    • Experience with developing modeling and simulation techniques for determining the appropriate size of satellite constellations
    • Conduct a variety of engineering tasks for the development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems.
    • Ensure the integration of methodology processes for total system performance.
    • Leverage expertise in a variety of technical disciplines, including electronics, software, mathematical, and scientific specialties.
    • Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in the area of expertise. Solve complex technical problems of critical importance to the organization's technical direction, work to be recognized as an expert in the field, and lead the development and implementation of key technologies for the organization.
    • Apply modeling and simulation principles, theories, and methods to developing a performance assessment of intelligence systems. Evaluate new and existing modeling and simulation tools and techniques for use in alternatives analysis, requirement analysis, mission utility analysis, and performance analysis of early intelligence system concepts.
