  • Strong Interpersonal skills reflecting the confidence to work with officials at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team; manage multiple projects and meet deadline;
  • possess prior experience developing and maintaining content-rich websites have the ability to visualize a web page that appeals to and informs the public website’s many audiences and to communicate that vision to graphics and design team members




  • Knowledge of web strategies and best practices; familiarity with social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, YouTube, and Flickr
  • Experience with working with content managers and content management systems and frameworks, including Plone, Drupal, and Joomla
  • Experience with configuring servers and working with server, engineering, network, and security staffs
  • Familiarity with multimedia principles
  • Experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, Java, Javascript, and SSH
  • Experience with web development languages such as Python, PHP, and Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with SSH and Linux/Unix commands
  • The ability to quickly learn new software programs
